Open Arms is a vibrant expression of the modern American Pale Ale, specifically designed to showcase the interplay between Strata and Idaho 7 hops. The sensory profile leads with a heady, herbaceous dankness and punchy resinous pine, which quickly gives way to a lush tropical bouquet of ripe mango, passionfruit, and sweet pineapple. A clean, neutral malt backbone provides the necessary structure without competing for attention, allowing the sticky hop oils to provide a saturated flavor experience. Balanced and incredibly drinkable, it finishes with a crisp, refreshing bitterness and a lingering fruit-forward character.

Appearance. Pale golden (approx. 6 SRM) with a bright clarity and a slight hop-derived sheen. It features a moderately large, creamy white head with excellent retention and fine-beaded lacing.

Aroma. High-intensity hop aroma featuring a complex blend of dank, resinous herbs and sharp pine. This is well-supported by high notes of tropical fruit, specifically mango and passionfruit. Malt aroma is low and neutral, providing a clean, slightly grainy foundation.

Taste. Initial impression is hop-forward with prominent pineapple and mango flavors. The mid-palate introduces a firm, sticky herbaceousness and resinous pine. Bitterness is moderate-high but well-integrated, balancing a low neutral malt sweetness. The finish is dry and clean, with lingering tropical hop flavors and a crisp, non-harsh aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with moderate to high carbonation. The texture is smooth and refreshing, showing no astringency or harshness despite the high hop saturation. No alcoholic warmth is perceived.
