Isar is a vibrant, modern interpretation of a Weissbier, leaning into the expressive Hopfenweisse territory through a generous infusion of Citra and El Dorado hops. This hybrid pours with a luminous, hazy gold glow and a dense, mousse-like head. The nose is an aromatic collision of traditional Bavarian yeast esters—notably ripe banana, spicy clove, and sweet bubblegum—seamlessly integrated with tropical layers of pineapple and stone fruit. On the palate, a fluffy, wheat-driven body supports a refreshing citrus brightness and a firm, pithy bitterness, finishing with a crisp dryness that highlights Track Brewing Company’s signature hop-forward craftsmanship.

Appearance. Pale gold to deep yellow (3–5 SRM). Hazy and opaque with a luminous shine from the suspended wheat and yeast. Topped by a very thick, long-lasting, moussy white head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity aromatic profile. Dominant yeast-derived esters of ripe banana and sweet bubblegum are balanced by moderate spicy clove phenols. The hop character is pronounced and modern, showcasing tropical notes of pineapple, mango, and citrus zest. A light, doughy, and bready wheat malt backbone provides a soft aromatic foundation.

Taste. Initial impression is a burst of tropical fruit and banana. A soft, doughy wheat flavor and grainy Pilsner malt sweetness are immediately countered by a moderate citrus hop bitterness. Flavors of clove and pineapple linger into the finish. The balance is more hop-forward than a traditional wheat beer, yet it retains a classic yeast-driven complexity. Finishes relatively dry and highly refreshing.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a characteristic fluffy and creamy fullness from the high wheat content. High carbonation provides a spritzy, effervescent mouthfeel. Very light alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated, with no astringency.
