Ascendance is a vibrant Hazy IPA that showcases the intense aromatic potential of a Triple Dry Hopped (TDH) treatment. This collaboration delivers a saturated profile defined by a heavy charge of Antipodean hops, offering a complex bouquet of bold citrus and tropical passionfruit. Distinctive notes of white grape emerge alongside a heady, fresh grassiness that adds depth to the juice-forward core. Its pillowy texture and soft bitterness support a profile bursting with Southern Hemisphere character, resulting in a modern, hop-saturated experience that remains remarkably drinkable despite its dense, multi-layered intensity.
Appearance. 3-5 SRM. Pale straw to light gold with a luminous, opaque haze. Features a thick, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and beautiful lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by passionfruit, lime zest, and white grape. A distinct, heady grassiness is present from the heavy hop charge. Background malt is neutral and lightly bready; fermentation is clean with subtle fruity esters.
Taste. High to very high fruity hop flavors of tropical passionfruit and bright citrus. Low to medium-high perceived bitterness that is smooth rather than sharp. Malt provides a soft, doughy foundation. The finish is off-dry and clean with a lingering, juicy hop aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation. Smooth and creamy without astringency or hop burn. A light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present.
