Jagphobia is a crisp West Coast Lager that elevates the clean foundations of an American Lager with a vibrant, modern hop profile. This golden-hued beer showcases a complex aromatic tapestry driven by Mosaic, Nelson Sauvin, Rakau, and Riwaka, offering punchy notes of citrus and dank resin. Motueka Hop Kief contributes a distinct lemonade-like sweetness and bright lime accents. The palate is refreshingly dry and grassy, balanced by a refined, approachable bitterness designed for warm weather. Appearance. 2–4 SRM. Brilliant clarity with a beautiful golden body. Features a white, frothy head with moderate retention and light lacing.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity. Clean fermentation profile with no esters. Pronounced hop character of dank resin, tropical fruit, and citrus. Low grainy-sweet malt aroma provides a neutral background.
Taste. Clean, neutral malt palate with an initial impression of lemonade-like sweetness. High hop flavor featuring grassy, citrusy, and dank notes. Bitterness is moderate-low but firm enough to provide a crisp, dry finish. Well-balanced with a clean aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with high carbonation providing a refreshing carbonic bite. Smooth and crisp with no astringency or alcohol warmth.
