This Hazy IPA offers a vibrant sensory journey defined by a complex hop profile featuring Riwaka, Citra, and Sabro. The aroma is a tropical explosion where intense lychee and juicy fruit notes are punctuated by a distinctive dankness. On the palate, the inclusion of Sabro introduces a characteristic sweetness that enhances the perception of ripeness, while Riwaka provides a refreshing, resinous counterpoint. Despite its oat-influenced inspiration, the mouthfeel is intentionally refined—balancing a smooth, medium-full body with a drinkable finish that invites another sip, perfectly capturing the festive spirit of an anniversary brew with punchy yet approachable character.
Appearance. Straw to light gold with a distinct, opaque hazy shine. Features a medium-to-large, meringue-like white head with high retention and thick lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring notes of lychee, passion fruit, and bright citrus. A unique sweet coconut and tropical fruit character from Sabro is present, supported by a dank, resinous Riwaka quality and a neutral, bready malt background with light fermentation esters.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor of tropical lychee, grapefruit, and stone fruit. The mid-palate shows a subtle, creamy sweetness followed by a moderate hop bitterness that provides a dank, resinous balance. The finish is off-dry and smooth, lacking any harshness or sharp edges, with a lingering juicy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a smooth, soft texture. Carbonation is moderate. It possesses a light warmth that is well-integrated, maintaining a clean and clear impression despite the creamy grist composition.
