This amber Bière de Garde presents a sophisticated balance of rustic malt depth and elegant drinkability. At 8% ABV, Ofiuco leads with an aromatic profile of spiced stone fruit and toasted bread, grounded by a rich, caramelized entry. The use of traditional Continental malts provides a complex toffee and biscuit foundation that remains surprisingly lithe on the palate, honoring the brewery's intent for a slender body. Despite its strength, the finish is remarkably dry and clean, characteristic of a well-conditioned artisanal ale. Spicy yeast phenols and subtle herbal hop notes weave through the finish, ensuring a refreshing experience that belies its robust malt-focused core.

Appearance. Deep amber to copper hue (12-16 SRM). Pours with a thick, off-white to cream-colored head that shows good retention and leaves delicate lacing. Clarity is clear to brilliant, reflecting its extended cold conditioning.
