Toppling Goliath

Think Piece is a cerebral Double IPA that showcases a sophisticated interplay of modern hops. The aromatic profile is dominated by a pungent rush of pink grapefruit and passionfruit from the Riwaka, supported by the bright citrus and mango depth of Citra. A unique, creamy coconut and tropical stone fruit nuance from Sabro adds a thought-provoking layer of complexity. On the palate, a firm but smooth bitterness balances a lean, neutral malt backbone, allowing the tropical fruit tapestry to shine before finishing remarkably dry. It is a masterful exploration of hop synergy, delivering intense saturation without the heavy, cloying sweetness often found in higher-gravity ales.

Appearance. Pours a deep gold to light orange-copper with good clarity and a slight, modern haze. Features a moderate-sized, persistent off-white head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of pink grapefruit, passionfruit, and lime citrus. Secondary notes include coconut, tropical mango, and a hint of cedar. Malt is clean and neutral, providing a supportive grainy background with a low fruity fermentation profile.
