Token Pils is a session-strength interpretation of a Czech Premium Pale Lager, offering a refined sensory experience with high drinkability. This golden brew presents a complex, bready-rich malt profile characteristic of traditional Czech malt, paired with a delicate, spicy, and floral bouquet from noble Czech hops. Despite its lighter 3.5% ABV, it maintains a rounded, soft bitterness that avoids harshness, thanks to a well-balanced profile and clean fermentation. The result is a crisp, refreshing lager with a lingering, harmonious finish that balances toasted grain sweetness with elegant hop aromatics, delivering a traditional European experience in a modern, accessible format.
Appearance. Medium yellow to deep gold (4–6 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a dense, long-lasting, and creamy white head that leaves excellent lacing.
Aroma. Moderate intensity with a prominent bready and toasted grain malt character. The hop bouquet is medium-low, displaying classic spicy and floral notes. Very clean fermentation with negligible esters; a faint, optional hint of buttery diacetyl is permissible but secondary to the malt.
Taste. Initial bready malt sweetness is quickly joined by a pronounced but soft, rounded hop bitterness. Flavors of toasted crust and herbal hops are well-integrated. The bitterness is prominent but lacks any harsh edge. Finishes clean and crisp with a long, balanced aftertaste of grain and noble hops.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body, reflecting the sessionable ABV while maintaining a soft, rounded texture. Moderate carbonation with no alcohol warmth and a smooth, non-astringent finish.
