This vibrant Specialty IPA delivers a seasonal sensory landscape defined by a robust, creamy wheat base and an assertive hop profile. Pouring a hazy pale ochre, it releases an intense bouquet of zesty citrus and bold grapefruit, underpinned by a distinct spicy character and soft bready, biscuity malts. On the palate, the soft wheat malt provides a smooth, medium-bodied foundation that carries a crescendo of grapefruit and spicy hop flavors. It finishes with a crisp, clean, and magnificent bitterness, characteristic of a well-crafted White IPA, balancing the supportive sweetness of the malt with a refreshing and dry snap.
Appearance. Pale ochre in color (4-6 SRM); hazy to cloudy clarity with a small, persistent white head and light lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent grapefruit, zesty citrus, and a peppery spice. Supportive low-to-moderate malt notes of fresh bread and biscuit. Clean fermentation profile with very light fruity esters.
Taste. Initial impression of bright citrus zest and pithy grapefruit. The malt flavor is medium-low, characterized by soft wheat and biscuity notes that provide a balanced sweetness. High hop bitterness is firm but clean, leading into a spicy hop crescendo. The finish is dry and crisp with a lingering, refreshing bitterness.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a characteristic softness and smoothness from the wheat. Moderate-high carbonation provides a crisp, lifting sensation. Alcohol warmth is very light and well-integrated.
