Appearance. Jet black and opaque (40+ SRM). Crowned by a dense, dark tan head with moderate retention and thick lacing. High viscosity is apparent through visible legs on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity with a rich blend of roasted coffee, dark chocolate, and distinct toasted hazelnut. Low dark fruit esters of plum and raisin are present, alongside a grainy oatmeal sweetness and a subtle, clean alcohol note.

Taste. Initial impression is intensely malty and nutty. Flavors of bittersweet chocolate, espresso, and earthy roasted grain are prominent, complemented by a significant hazelnut richness. Bitterness is firm but balanced by residual malt sweetness and the creamy character of the oats.
