This Hazy IPA presents an innovative European take on the style, showcasing a vibrant hop profile driven by German Amarillo, Callista, and Amira. The aroma is an intense bouquet of stone fruit and citrus, mimicking New World varieties through modern German breeding. On the palate, a soft, pillowy texture derived from a grist featuring wheat and oats supports flavors of apricot and tropical berries. It strikes a delicate balance between a light, bready sweetness and a restrained, smooth bitterness. The finish is clean yet juicy, defined by the unique character of its experimental hop components and a focus on drinkability.
Appearance. Straw to light gold (4 SRM). Opaque with a consistent, glowing haze and no visible particulates. Topped by a dense, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and thick lacing.
Aroma. High intensity. Dominant aromas of ripe peach, apricot, and sweet citrus zest. Secondary notes of red berries and a subtle floral lift. The malt character is low, providing a neutral, grainy, and slightly doughy background. Fermentation is clean with supportive, light fruity esters.
Taste. Initial impression is a burst of tropical and stone fruit juice. High hop flavor featuring prominent notes of melon, citrus, and soft berry. The malt provides a low-intensity, bready foundation. Perceived bitterness is moderate and well-integrated, never reaching harshness. The finish is off-dry and lingering with a juicy hop aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, silky texture. Moderate carbonation. Very low alcohol warmth. The addition of wheat and oats contributes a smooth, rounded mouthfeel without being overly heavy or viscous.

Cette IPA savoureuse et moyennement corsée est brassée avec des houblons aromatiques et fruités provenant d'Allemagne. Nous nous sommes associés au fournisseur allemand de houblon HVG (qui s'est rendu sur place le jour du brassage) pour tester certaines des nouvelles variétés prometteuses disponibles en Allemagne afin de créer une bière que l'on pourrait croire brassée avec du houblon américain. Cette bière est élaborée à partir d'un mélange d'un nouveau houblon expérimental issu de leur programme de sélection, qui n'est pas encore commercialisé, ainsi que d'une grande quantité d'Amarillo allemand et d'une touche de Callista et d'Amira. Elle possède une base maltée simple, de couleur claire, avec une bonne dose de blé et d'avoine, et présente un bel équilibre entre une légère douceur et une amertume.
