This triple dry-hopped American IPA delivers a saturated hop experience centered on the multifaceted Mosaic hop. The aroma is led by an intense wave of tropical mango and stone fruit, underscored by the bright, citrus-forward lift of Citra. A complex layer of passionfruit and fresh pine needles from Simcoe provides depth, while the beer maintains a high level of drinkability. Despite its approachable strength, the profile is aggressively juicy and fresh, supported by a clean, neutral malt backbone that allows the resinous and fruity hop oils to shine. The finish is crisp and refreshing, emphasizing hop saturation over malt sweetness.
Appearance. Color is medium gold (6 SRM) with a light, hop-derived haze. It supports a medium-sized, persistent white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High-intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of blueberry, mango, and papaya from the Mosaic dry-hopping. Secondary notes of grapefruit, lime zest, and a distinct resinous pine character are present. Malt is low and clean with a neutral, grainy profile.
Taste. Initial impression is a burst of tropical and citrus fruit. Medium-high hop bitterness is balanced by a low, crackery malt flavor. Flavors of passionfruit and pine resin emerge in the mid-palate. The finish is medium-dry and clean, with a lingering hoppy aftertaste of citrus peel and berry.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, soft texture from the dry-hopping. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a crisp bite without any harshness or astringency. Alcohol warmth is very low and well-integrated.
