This potent Double IPA, crafted as a Triple New England style, delivers an intense sensory experience driven by a massive blend of Simcoe, Riwaka, and Citra hops. A creamy, opaque body carries punchy aromas of tropical passionfruit and bright grapefruit. On the palate, a saturated citrus profile of lemon and orange zest dominates, supported by a subtle, dank, earthy funk that grounds the fruit-forward character. Despite its 9.4% ABV, the finish remains remarkably smooth, balancing its high-gravity weight with a vibrant hop saturation that lingers long after the final sip.
Appearance. 4–7 SRM. Pale gold to light orange; opaque haze with a thick, persistent, creamy white head and heavy lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring intense passionfruit, grapefruit, and lime. Secondary notes of pine and damp earth provide a dank complexity. Low bready malt and moderate fruity esters in the background.
Taste. Bold initial impression of tropical fruit and mixed citrus, specifically orange and lemon. Low, supportive grainy malt character. Moderate bitterness that is firm but smooth, lacking harshness. Finishes with a lingering citrus peel and resinous dankness.
Mouthfeel. Full-bodied and creamy with a soft, pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation. Noticeable but well-integrated alcohol warmth that enhances the substantial mouthfeel without becoming solventy or hot.
