This non-alcoholic interpretation of an American IPA delivers a vibrant sensory experience led by the intense profile of Citra hops. Bright notes of grapefruit zest, crushed lime, and tropical mango dominate the senses, punchy and assertive despite the low gravity. The sensory landscape is defined by a clean, light grainy malt base that provides just enough structure to support the aggressive hop-forward balance. It finishes crisp and dry with a lingering citrus rind bitterness. Without the weight of alcohol, the focus remains squarely on the lupulin-driven aromatics, resulting in a refreshing and aromatically complex experience that stays true to the American IPA spirit.
Appearance. Medium gold (approx 7 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Pours with a medium-sized, frothy white head that shows moderate persistence and light lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring classic Citra characteristics of grapefruit, melon, and lime. Low, clean, grainy maltiness supports the hops. Fermentation is very clean with no notable esters or sulfur.
Taste. Initial impression is a burst of citrus and tropical fruit. High hop flavor mirroring the aroma with notes of pineapple and orange peel. Medium-high bitterness that is firm but clean. Low grainy malt sweetness quickly gives way to a dry, hoppy finish. The aftertaste is lingering and bitter with a touch of citrus resin.
Mouthfeel. Light body with a smooth, slightly thin texture. Moderate to high carbonation provides a crisp, prickly sensation. No alcohol warmth present; no astringency.
