Time & Tide Brewing

This Hazy IPA showcases a saturated hop profile led by Citra and Strata, delivering a tropical and citrus-forward sensory experience. An intense aroma of overripe mango and passion fruit is punctuated by a resinous, dank complexity characteristic of the Strata hops. On the palate, the beer reveals layers of bright grapefruit and lime from the Citra, supported by a soft, bready malt foundation that provides a plush, velvety mouthfeel. The finish is remarkably smooth with a restrained, low-intensity bitterness, allowing the juicy hop character to linger cleanly without any harshness or astringency, maintaining a high level of drinkability.

Appearance. Straw to light amber (4-6 SRM) with a significant, opaque haze that maintains a luminous 'shine.' Crowned by a dense, rocky, meringue-like white head with exceptional retention and thick lacing.

Aroma. High intensity of tropical fruit including mango, passion fruit, and melon, alongside bright grapefruit citrus. A prominent resinous and dank hop character is present. The malt is low and neutral, suggesting lightly bready or grainy notes, while fermentation esters are supportive and fruity.

Taste. High tropical and stone fruit hop flavors dominate the initial impression. Citra contributes sharp citrus and lime, while Strata adds a complex dankness and subtle berry-like sweetness. Malt flavor is low and bready, providing a soft backdrop. Bitterness is low to medium-low and smooth, leading into an off-dry finish that is clean and juice-like.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a soft, smooth, and slightly plush texture. Carbonation is moderate. No astringency or harshness is present, and alcohol warmth is very light and well-integrated.
