This Hazy IPA presents an inviting sensory journey defined by its vibrant hop profile and soft, pillowy structure. The combination of Ekuanot and Loral hops delivers an intense bouquet of ripe tropical fruits and bright citrus, underscored by delicate floral notes. On the palate, a lush juiciness emerges, echoing the aroma with layers of mango and orange. Despite its moderate 5.5% ABV, the beer maintains a satisfying fullness and a hint of sweetness that balances a restrained, smooth bitterness. The finish is clean yet lingering, showcasing the sophisticated hop character and depth of this balanced, tropical ale.
Appearance. Pale gold to light amber (4-6 SRM). Opaque haze with a luminous shine; no visible particulates. Topped by a dense, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and thick lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of citrus peel, papaya, and melon from Ekuanot, alongside the refined floral and herbal whispers of Loral. Low, bready malt background with a clean fermentation profile and subtle fruity esters.
Taste. Initial burst of tropical and stone fruit hop flavors. Low to medium-low perceived bitterness that is well-masked by the malt. Low, grainy malt sweetness provides a supportive foundation. The finish is off-dry and smooth, with a lingering fruit-forward aftertaste and no harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, rounded, and smooth texture. Moderate carbonation. Very low alcohol warmth. No astringency or raw starch character.
