This collaboration American IPA delivers a punchy, hop-forward experience characterized by an assertive citrus and tropical fruit profile. The use of Citra Dynaboost and Nectaron Cryo creates a saturated aroma of grapefruit, ripe peach, and pineapple, while the addition of Riwaka and Motueka introduces vibrant notes of passionfruit and fresh lime zest. Despite the intensity of the hop oils, the beer remains impressively dry and drinkable. A lean, grainy malt backbone supports the high bitterness, ensuring the complex fruit character remains the focus before finishing with a clean, resinous snap that invites another sip.
Appearance. Medium gold (7 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Features a medium-sized, white, long-lasting head with excellent persistence and fine lacing.
Aroma. Intense hop aroma featuring grapefruit, lime, and passionfruit with distinct stone fruit notes of peach. Low, clean, grainy-sweet maltiness supports the hop presentation. Clean fermentation profile with very low yeast esters.
Taste. Very high hop flavor mirroring the citrus and tropical aroma profile. High bitterness is firm and clean. Low grainy malt provides a neutral, supporting canvas. The finish is very dry and crisp with a lingering hoppy and resinous aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly oily texture. Medium-high carbonation provides a crisp mouthfeel. Very light, smooth alcohol warmth is present without harshness.
