Time & Tide’s Ham Sandwich is a bold, high-gravity Hazy IPA that delivers an immediate sensory impact. At 7.4% ABV, it presents a lush, tropical landscape driven by a significant addition of Mosaic hops. This variety lends a remarkable complexity, unfolding layers of ripe mango, bright citrus, and distinct blueberry, rounded out by a punchy pineapple finish. The profile is intentionally juicy and mouth-watering, balancing a soft, bready malt foundation against a vibrant, tangy acidity. A subtle hop tingle provides a refreshing bite on the back end, accentuating the beer's modern, fruit-forward intensity and smooth, well-integrated strength.
Appearance. Ranging from 3 to 6 SRM, the liquid is straw to light gold with a deep, opaque haze that creates a characteristic glow. It is topped by a persistent, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and thick lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical fruit notes of mango and pineapple, alongside citrus and a unique blueberry character. The malt is subtle, providing a neutral, grainy background with no caramel or toast, while fermentation esters remain clean and supportive.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma with layers of mango, pineapple, and citrus. Bitterness is moderate but perceived as soft and smooth, never harsh. The malt flavor is low, suggesting light grain and bread. It features a balanced tanginess and an off-dry finish with a lingering tropical aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, silky texture and no astringency. Carbonation is moderate. A noticeable but gentle alcohol warmth is present, complemented by a light hop tingle on the finish.
