Angry White Pyjamas is a vibrant American IPA that showcases a heavy 19g/l dry-hop charge. The sensory experience is led by an intense aromatic display of Citra, Idaho 7, and Riwaka hops, bursting with zesty oranges, ripe tropical fruit, and subtle stone fruit undertones. The palate follows suit with a bright, citrus-forward attack supported by a lean, grainy malt base that ensures the hop character remains the focus. Unfiltered and unfined, the beer possesses a firm but clean bitterness that balances the fruit-forward profile. It concludes with a crisp, dry finish and a lingering resinous zest, embodying a modern, aromatic approach to the style.

Appearance. Medium gold (approx. 7 SRM) with a slight haze from being unfiltered. Topped with a medium-sized, white, persistent head that leaves light lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of zesty orange, passionfruit, and mango. Low, clean, grainy maltiness provides a neutral backdrop. Fermentation is clean with virtually no yeast-derived esters, allowing the Citra and Riwaka character to dominate.

Taste. High hop flavor echoing the aroma with ripe tropical fruit, citrus zest, and a touch of pine. Low grainy malt sweetness is quickly overtaken by a medium-high bitterness. The finish is medium-dry and crisp with a lingering, clean, hoppy aftertaste and no harshness.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a refreshing prickle. Very low alcohol warmth is appropriate for the 5.6% ABV.
