This collaboration between Thyras Bryg and Gamborg Bryghus presents a vibrant, summer-inspired hybrid that utilizes a significant fifty-percent addition of red grape juice against a traditional Saison canvas. The sensory profile is defined by a sparkling, vinous elegance, where the expressive, spicy phenolics of the yeast meet the lush, berry-forward character of the grape must. Effervescent and bone-dry, the beer leads with an aromatic bouquet of red berries and subtle rustic earthiness. The light malt backbone provides a clean, unobtrusive foundation, allowing the fruit to shine through to a crisp, refreshing finish reminiscent of a fine sparkling rosé.
Appearance. Pours a brilliant ruby to soft burgundy with excellent clarity. It features a medium-low, pale pink head with moderate retention and minimal lacing.
