Three Sisters Brewery Suspect is a vibrantly refreshing Mexican-inspired American Lager that balances heritage grains with a bright, citrus-forward character. The foundation of German Pilsner malts provides a delicate, grainy sweetness, while flaked maize lightens the palate for an exceptionally clean, approachable profile. A sharp, zesty lift from hand-zested limes integrates seamlessly into the sensory experience, enhancing the beer's thirst-quenching nature. Fermented with a specific Mexican lager yeast, the finish is crisp, dry, and impeccably tidy. Appearance. Very pale straw to light yellow (2-3 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a white, frothy head that shows moderate initial retention, eventually receding to a fine collar.
Aroma. Moderate intensity with a clean, grainy-sweet malt character and a subtle, corn-like adjunct note. The primary aromatic driver is the fresh, zesty lime peel. Hop aroma is very low to absent, and the fermentation profile is exceptionally clean.
Taste. Crisp and highly refreshing initial impression. Low grainy malt flavors from the German Pilsner malts are complemented by the distinct, bright citrus punch of fresh lime. Hop bitterness is low, providing just enough balance against the adjunct sweetness. The finish is snappy, dry, and brief with a faint, lingering citrus aftertaste.
