This Red IPA is a collaborative tribute to Colorado-style reds, balancing a robust malt backbone with assertive hopping. Low Colour Maris Otter and Munich malts provide a structural base, yielding notes of rich toffee and sweet orange. The hop profile is led by Chinook, delivering signature grapefruit, pineapple, and a tantalizing resinous finish, supported by the piney and tropical depth of Simcoe and Galaxy. It presents as a bold, hop-forward experience where the toasted, caramel-laden sweetness of the specialty malts perfectly counters the firm bitterness, resulting in a complex, multi-layered profile that stays true to its American West Coast inspirations.

Appearance. Deep amber to coppery-red (13–17 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Pours with a persistent, off-white to light tan head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by Chinook-derived grapefruit and resinous pine, alongside tropical pineapple notes from Galaxy. The malt character is moderate, featuring distinct toffee and sweet orange peel from the Crystal T50 and Dark Crystal malts. Clean fermentation profile with very low esters.

Taste. Initial impression of rich toffee and toasted caramel from the Munich and Caramalt, followed by a wave of assertive hop bitterness. Flavors of resin, grapefruit pith, and subtle tropical fruit persist throughout. The finish is medium-dry and moderately bitter with a clean, lingering resinous and citrus aftertaste that avoids harshness.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly creamy texture provided by the wheat. Moderate carbonation. A gentle, well-integrated alcohol warmth is noticeable but refined, contributing to a substantial mouthfeel without being hot.
