Thornbridge Craft Union reimagines the traditional British Brown Ale with a harmonious infusion of rye and wildflower honey. A deep, mahogany-hued pour greets the eye, releasing an engaging aroma of toasted hazelnuts, light toffee, and a distinct rustic spiciness from the rye, softened by a delicate, floral honeyed sweetness. Appearance. Deep copper to dark reddish-brown with excellent clarity. Crowned by a moderate, creamy, light tan head that exhibits good retention and leaves delicate lacing.

Aroma. Moderate aroma showcasing a rich blend of toasted nuts, caramel, and subtle toffee. A distinct, spicy, and slightly peppery rye grain note is complemented by a delicate, sweet floral honey character. Earthy and herbal hop notes are low, while clean, low fruity esters linger in the background.

Taste. An initial impression of nutty malt sweetness and caramel is quickly balanced by the earthy, spicy, and slightly sharp flavor of rye.
