This American Brown Ale, a collaboration between Thornbridge and Track, leverages the unique Union system to forge a deeply layered sensory experience. The complex malt bill presents an inviting mahogany hue, leading with rich aromas of chocolate and toasted hazelnuts. In accordance with its West Coast inspiration, classic US West Coast hops introduce vibrant layers of resinous pine and bright citrus zest that slice through the malty sweetness. The palate is full and characterful, balancing caramel-rich malt depth with a firm, clean bitterness. It finishes medium-dry, leaving a lingering trail of cocoa and evergreen, showcasing a modern take on a classic style.

Appearance. Medium to dark brown (24–30 SRM) with mahogany highlights and clear clarity. It features a moderate, persistent off-white to light tan head with fine lacing.

Aroma. Moderate intensity with a rich malt core of milk chocolate, caramel, and toasted bread. The hop profile is distinctly American, offering resinous pine and citrus grapefruit notes. Very low fruity esters with a clean fermentation profile.

Taste. Initial malty sweetness yields to complex flavors of chocolate, nutty toffee, and dark bread crust. Hop flavor is moderate, showcasing pine and orange peel. Bitterness is medium-high but well-integrated, leading to a medium-dry finish where both malt sweetness and hop resin linger harmoniously without acrid roast.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a smooth, slightly creamy texture. Moderate carbonation. Light, well-integrated alcohol warmth with no significant astringency.
