This celebratory Double IPA radiates an intense hop profile driven by a hand-selected blend of Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe, and El Dorado. The sensory journey begins with an explosion of tropical mango and vibrant citrus, anchored by a classic resinous pine backbone. The inclusion of oats provides a luxuriously soft, creamy texture that carries the high bitterness with grace. Layers of stone fruit and mixed berries emerge against a clean, supportive malt backdrop. It finishes medium-dry with a lingering hop saturation, balancing its notable strength with exceptional drinkability and a smooth, integrated alcohol warmth.
Appearance. Gold to light orange (6-12 SRM) with a moderate-sized, persistent white head and sticky lacing; exhibits a soft, uniform haze characteristic of the oat addition.
Aroma. High intensity hops featuring tropical fruit (mango, passion fruit), citrus zest (grapefruit), and pine resin. Low, neutral, grainy maltiness provides a clean background with very low fruity esters and a hint of clean alcohol.
Taste. Strong, complex hop flavors of tangerine, pineapple, and resinous spruce. Malt character is low and unobtrusive, supporting a firm but smooth hop bitterness. The finish is medium-dry with a long, clean, fruity, and resinous aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a smooth, creamy texture from the oats. Carbonation is moderate-high. Features a restrained, integrated alcohol warmth without harshness or astringency.
