Moon Gathering is a striking Hazy IPA crafted in collaboration with Gather Brewery & Glassworks. The grist, featuring a substantial addition of oats and wheat, provides a velvety canvas for a complex hop profile led by Citra, Dolcita, and Cashmere. The result is a vibrant sensory experience defined by rich layers of bright clementine and deep peach pit, accented by subtle, exotic hints of coconut. This beer exemplifies the style's focus on juicy aromatics over harsh bitterness, offering a soft, pillowy texture that carries the intense fruit-forward character from the first aroma to a smooth, tropical finish.

Appearance. Color is a deep straw to light gold (SRM 4-6) with a dense, opaque haze providing a soft shine. It supports a thick, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and significant lacing.

Aroma. High intensity aromatics lead with citrusy clementine and ripe stone fruit, specifically peach pit. A distinct but subtle coconut note emerges alongside a clean, bready, and grainy malt backdrop provided by the oats and wheat. Esters are clean and supportive.

Taste. Explodes with fruity hop flavors of sweet orange and peach, transitioning into a light tropical coconut finish. Malt flavors are neutral and bready. Bitterness is low to moderate, well-integrated and never harsh. The balance is hop-forward with a soft, off-dry finish.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, creamy, and lush texture from the high proportion of flaked grains. Carbonation is moderate. It is smooth and lacks any astringency, with a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
