Sleeping Forever Xtreme: Vanilla is a monumental Imperial Stout that commands attention with its obsidian pour and viscous texture. The extended twenty-month maturation in Old Fitzgerald barrels imparts deep layers of charred oak and spicy bourbon, perfectly complementing a decadent base of dark chocolate and espresso. A trio of Madagascar, Guatemalan, and Australian vanilla beans introduces a multidimensional sweetness, ranging from creamy marshmallow to subtle floral and spice notes. Mouthfeel. Full-bodied and exceptionally viscous with a chewy, syrupy texture that coats the palate. Carbonation is low, enhancing the beer's richness. A significant, smooth alcohol warmth is present, reflecting the very high gravity without becoming harsh or solventy.
