Erase is a quintessential Hazy IPA that showcases a masterful hop blend of Galaxy, Nelson, Citra, and Mosaic. It pours with a vibrant, opaque glow, releasing an intense bouquet of passionfruit and crushed blueberries from the Galaxy and Mosaic. The Nelson hops introduce a sophisticated dimension of white wine grapes and gooseberry, while Citra provides a bright citrus top note of grapefruit and lime. A soft, pillowy malt backbone of bready grains supports the massive hop saturation, leading to a smooth, juicy finish. The bitterness is remarkably restrained, allowing the complex fruit esters and tropical hop oils to take center stage.
Appearance. Straw to light gold (4 SRM). Opaque and hazy with a characteristic shine. Features a thick, rocky, meringue-like white head with exceptional retention and dense lacing.
Aroma. High-intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical passionfruit, mango, and stone fruit. Distinguishable notes of white wine grapes, gooseberry, and light citrus zest. Low, neutral, bready malt character in the background with a clean, fruity fermentation profile.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma with layers of pineapple, citrus, and a hint of blueberry. Low to medium-low bitterness that never becomes sharp. Malt flavor is low and doughy, providing a soft foundation. The finish is off-dry and exceptionally smooth with a lingering tropical aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, silky texture. Moderate carbonation. No astringency or hop harshness. Alcohol warmth is very light and well-integrated, contributing to a smooth overall mouthfeel.
