This Imperial Berliner Weisse is a vibrant collaboration between The Veil and Root + Branch, pushing the boundaries of the traditional style with a robust 8% ABV. Intense aromas of jammy boysenberry and ripe peach skin lead the sensory experience, supported by a rich, bready foundation of wheat. The palate is defined by a clean, sharp lactic sourness that cuts through the dense fruit profile, offering flavors of tart dark berries and succulent stone fruit. While significantly more substantial than its classic counterparts, it maintains a refreshing acidity and an effervescent finish that masks its strength with luscious fruit complexity.

Appearance. 5–10 SRM (Vibrant magenta to deep reddish-purple from boysenberry); dense, pink-tinted head with moderate retention; hazy to opaque due to wheat and fruit solids.

Aroma. High intensity; sharply sour lactic notes dominate; heavy fruit character of dark boysenberry jam and floral peach; light doughy wheat malt; no hop aroma; clean, fruit-forward fermentation profile.
