This West Coast IPA presents a vibrant sensory profile defined by its assertive hop character. A robust bitterness anchors the experience, showcasing classic American hop traits of sharp grapefruit and resinous pine. Tropical layers of ripe mango emerge on the palate, complemented by a nuanced malt sweetness reminiscent of orange marmalade and the subtle toasted almond notes of ambrosiakaka. The finish is decisively dry and clean, characteristic of the American IPA style, allowing the lingering resin and citrus zest to persist. With its slightly hazy golden hue and smooth, medium-bodied texture, it offers a balanced yet hop-forward journey that highlights both fruit-forward modern hops and traditional forest-like resins.

Appearance. Dark yellow to medium gold (approx. 7-9 SRM) with a slight haze. Features a medium-sized, white head with good persistence and light lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of pine resin and grapefruit. Tropical fruit esters of mango are evident, supported by a medium-low malt sweetness suggesting orange peel and a hint of toasted cake. Fermentation is clean.

Taste. Initial impression is decidedly hoppy and bitter. Dominant flavors of grapefruit zest and pine resin are layered with mango and rich orange marmalade. Malt flavor is low to medium-low, providing a clean, grainy base that supports the high bitterness (approx. 50-60 IBU). The finish is dry and lingering with a crisp, resinous aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a refreshing bite. A very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present without any harshness or astringency.
