The One Blanche is a vibrant Weissbier that presents a striking orange-hued pour topped with a dense, long-lasting white head. This artisanal wheat ale leads with a classic aromatic profile of spicy clove and ripe banana, sensory characteristics quintessential to its traditional weizen yeast fermentation. On the palate, a soft, bready wheat sweetness harmonizes with lingering fruity notes, balanced by a very low hop presence. Its medium body provides a satisfying, fluffy fullness that remains remarkably refreshing, thanks to an effervescent carbonation that lifts the flavors toward a clean, relatively dry finish. Appearance. 4-8 SRM (orange to light amber). Thick, moussy, and long-lasting white head with excellent lacing. Typically hazy with a noticeable shine from the wheat and yeast content.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity. Prominent fruity esters of ripe banana and spicy phenols reminiscent of clove. Supported by a moderate bready, grainy wheat character. Hop aroma is absent, allowing the yeast-derived esters to dominate.
Taste. Initial impression of soft, grainy wheat sweetness and pronounced ripe banana flavor. This is quickly balanced by low to moderate clove-like phenols. Bitterness is very low (approx. 10 IBU), serving only to prevent cloying. The finish is well-rounded and refreshing, with a clean aftertaste that leans toward dryness rather than sugary sweetness.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a characteristic fluffy, creamy fullness. High to very high carbonation provides a spritzy, effervescent sensation on the tongue. Low alcohol warmth with no astringency.
