Appearance. Medium gold to light amber (approx. 7-10 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a dense, persistent white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma. Dominated by citrus (grapefruit, lime) and tropical fruit (mango) from the Citra, alongside distinct resinous pine and passion fruit from the Simcoe. Low, clean, grainy-sweet maltiness provides a subtle background. Fermentation is very clean with no significant esters.
Taste. Leading with high hop flavor, mirroring the aroma with grapefruit pith, pine resin, and tropical stone fruit. Medium-high bitterness is firm but smooth, never harsh. A low, clean maltiness offers a toasted cracker support. Fermentation is neutral. The finish is dry to medium-dry with a lingering hoppy and resinous aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly oily texture from hop resins. Medium-high carbonation provides a crisp bite. Very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present at 6.7% ABV. No astringency.
