This vibrant Double IPA centers on an intense hop profile driven by Citra, Simcoe, El Dorado, and Palisade. The aroma opens with pungent waves of tropical mango and bright citrus, grounded by the piney, resinous depth characteristic of Simcoe. On the palate, El Dorado provides lush stone fruit sweetness, while Palisade contributes delicate floral and apricot notes. Despite its 8% strength, the beer maintains a lean, neutral malt backbone that facilitates a dry, crisp finish. A firm, clean bitterness cuts through the fruit-forward layers, ensuring the hop complexity remains the focus without being overshadowed by heavy residual sugars.

Appearance. Pale gold to light orange-copper (7-9 SRM) with a moderate, persistent off-white head that leaves dense lacing. Clarity is excellent with a brilliant to very clear presentation.

Aroma. Intense hop aroma featuring grapefruit and lime zest from Citra, pineapple and melon from El Dorado, and a pungent piney, resinous backing from Simcoe. Palisade adds subtle floral and apricot notes. Malt is low and neutral, offering a light grainy scent with a clean fermentation profile.

Taste. The initial impression is an explosion of tropical and citrus fruit, followed by a firm, resinous bitterness. Malt flavor is low, providing a soft, bready support. High hop flavors of passion fruit, pine, and orange peel dominate. The finish is dry to medium-dry with a lingering, clean hoppy bitterness and no harshness.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, velvety texture. Carbonation is moderate-high. A restrained, smooth alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated, with no hop-derived astringency.
