This modern American Pale Ale showcases a vibrant, double dry-hopped profile driven by a potent trio of hops. The aroma leads with intense notes of grapefruit and mango from Citra, complemented by the classic piney, resinous depth of Chinook. Cashmere adds nuanced layers of smooth melon, peach, and subtle lemon-lime zest. A base of neutral, bready malts provides a sturdy yet unobtrusive canvas, allowing the bright, hop-forward character to remain the focus. The palate is balanced by a firm, clean bitterness and a refreshing dry finish, making for a highly aromatic experience that successfully bridges classic forest notes with contemporary tropical fruit flair.
Appearance. Pours a pale golden color (approx. 6 SRM) with a slight, modern haze. Features a moderately large, frothy white head with excellent retention and significant lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High hop intensity featuring prominent citrus zest, grapefruit, and tropical mango. Secondary notes of pine resin and spicy evergreen are evident, with a soft melon and stone fruit undertone. Very low, clean, bready malt sweetness and a neutral fermentation profile.
Taste. Initial impression is hop-dominant with flavors of grapefruit, lychee, and fresh pine needles. The mid-palate reveals soft melon and lemon lime.
