This sessionable Hazy IPA captures the tropical essence of its namesake cocktail through the artful interplay of Harlequin hops and real fruit additions. The sensory profile is dominated by bright, acidic pineapple and a creamy, toasted coconut undertone that suggests a decadent, dessert-like character while remaining highly drinkable. Its appearance is a soft, hazy gold with a luminous quality. On the palate, Harlequin hops reinforce the fresh pineapple notes, while the addition of lactose provides a silky, rounded sweetness. Appearance. Straw to light gold (3–5 SRM). Opaque and hazy with a characteristic luminous shine. Topped with a dense, white, meringue-like head with high retention and delicate lacing.
Aroma. High intensity of fresh, juicy pineapple and toasted coconut. Moderate tropical esters from Harlequin hops. A light, bready pale malt character is visible in the background, complemented by a sweet, creamy lactose note. No caramel or toast.
Taste. Initial impression is a burst of juicy pineapple and creamy coconut. High fruity hop flavor with distinct pineapple notes from Harlequin. Bitterness is low, heavily masked by the soft malt profile and lactose sweetness. Finishes off-dry to sweet with a smooth, tropical aftertaste and no hop harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium body, feeling fuller and more pillowy than the ABV suggests due to the lactose and soft pale malt base. Moderate carbonation. Smooth and creamy texture with no astringency or alcohol warmth.
