This decadent Imperial Stout pours like liquid velvet, offering a masterclass in dessert-inspired complexity. A luxurious blend of bourbon barrel-aged stouts provides a robust foundation of charred oak and spirituous warmth, seamlessly integrating the Neapolitan trio of strawberries, cacao nibs, and Madagascar vanilla beans. The aroma is a heady rush of chocolate-covered fruit and rich cream, while the palate delivers an indulgent sundae-like experience where dark roasted malts meet luscious berry sweetness. At 15.3% ABV, it is remarkably smooth, showcasing a signature ability to balance massive gravity with intricate layers of dark chocolate, oak, and a lingering, decadent finish.

Appearance. Jet black and completely opaque (40+ SRM) with high viscosity that leaves thick legs on the glass. The head is a deep tan, creamy but relatively short-lived, with fine-beaded lacing that recedes quickly due to the high alcohol content.

Aroma. High intensity with a complex interplay of sweet strawberry preserves, rich Madagascar vanilla beans, and dark cacao nibs. Deep roasted malt notes of espresso and bittersweet chocolate are layered with significant bourbon barrel character, including charred oak, coconut, and toasted marshmallow. Low dark fruit esters of prune and raisin provide additional depth.

Taste. Initial impression is intensely sweet and dessert-like, reminiscent of a strawberry sundae. Rich cacao nibs and creamy Madagascar vanilla beans dominate the mid-palate, supported by a distinct, ripe strawberry fruitiness. The base provides a sturdy backbone of roasted coffee and dark chocolate. Bourbon barrel aging adds layers of caramel and oak tannin. The finish is long and decadent, with a lingering sweetness of berry and chocolate that avoids being cloying through roasted malt balance.

Mouthfeel. Full-bodied and exceptionally viscous with a chewy, velvety, and luscious texture. Carbonation is low, enhancing the creamy, ice cream-like mouthfeel. A smooth, noticeable alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated, providing a comforting glow rather than a harsh burn.
