Bourbon barrel aging contributes profound notes of vanilla and charred oak, which integrate seamlessly with the base beer's dark chocolate and espresso character. On the palate, the liquid is exceptionally viscous and chewy, delivering a rich, dessert-like sweetness balanced by firm roasted bitterness. A deep, smooth alcohol warmth persists through a long, complex finish defined by lingering wood spice and maple.
Appearance. Jet black and completely opaque. It pours with a thick, deep tan head that shows moderate retention, eventually subsiding into a persistent collar. High viscosity is evident through heavy, slow-moving legs on the glass.

Mouthfeel. Very full-bodied and exceptionally chewy with a luscious, velvety texture. Carbonation is low, enhancing the beer's weight. A significant but smooth alcohol warmth is present, reflecting its high strength without being sharp or solventy.
