This massive Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout presents an opulent sensory experience, centered on a luxurious marriage of TCHO cacao nibs and Mostra coffee. The aroma is saturated with freshly roasted beans and bittersweet chocolate, layered over a foundation of bourbon-soaked oak, vanilla, and dark fruit. On the palate, it is exceptionally rich and syrupy, delivering intense flavors of espresso, fudge, and caramelized sugars. The bourbon barrel aging imparts a sweet spice and significant spirituous warmth that integrates with the dense malt profile. It is a decadent, slow-sipping dessert beer with a long, velvety finish of cocoa and oak.

Appearance. Deepest ebony to opaque black (SRM 40+). Pours with a thick, creamy, dark tan head that shows moderate retention, eventually settling to a persistent ring. Pronounced legs on the glass indicate high viscosity and significant alcohol content.

Aroma. High intensity. The aroma is dominated by bold, freshly roasted coffee and rich dark chocolate. Secondary notes of bourbon, toasted oak, and vanilla provide a sweet, spirit-forward complexity. Background esters of dark cherry and plum meld with deep-roasted malt scents of molasses and charred bread.

Taste. Initial impression is one of immense sweetness and decadent richness. Flavors of espresso and artisanal dark chocolate are primary, supported by bourbon-derived notes of caramel and vanilla.
