This Hazy IPA showcases a vibrant sensory profile driven by a focused dry-hop blend of Citra, Mosaic, and El Dorado. The Citra hops provide a punchy citrus foundation of grapefruit and lime zest, while Mosaic contributes complex layers of ripe mango and earthy berries. El Dorado rounds out the experience with distinct notes of tropical pineapple and stone fruit. A soft, bready malt backbone supports the intense hop character without adding distracting sweetness. The overall impression is remarkably juicy and smooth, featuring a lush, opaque appearance and a restrained bitterness that prioritizes hop saturation and depth over sharp edges.
Appearance. Pours a hazy, pale gold to light orange (SRM 4-6). The beer is nearly opaque with a soft, matte-like shine. It is topped by a thick, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and significant lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical and citrus fruit. Bright notes of pineapple, mango, and tangerine are prominent. A clean, grainy and lightly bready malt character remains in the background. Fermentation esters are pleasant and well-integrated with the hop-driven stone fruit profile.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor with initial impressions of passion fruit, peach, and melon. Citrus notes are balanced by subtle berry undertones. Low to moderate bitterness provides structure without harshness. The malt flavor is neutral and bready, leading to a soft, off-dry finish with a lingering tropical aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a soft, pillowy texture and no astringency. Carbonation is moderate. It feels smooth and round on the palate. At 5.4% ABV, the alcohol presence is very subtle and well-integrated.
