This vibrant Wild Specialty Beer, a collaboration between The Answer and The Veil Brewing Co., delivers an explosive tropical profile characteristic of the Joose series. The sensory experience is dominated by an intense quartet of Passion Fruit, Mango, Pineapple, and Dragon Fruit. Sharp, tangy acidity from the Passion Fruit and Pineapple is expertly balanced by the lush, nectar-like sweetness of ripe Mango. Dragon Fruit contributes a subtle earthy undertone and a striking visual hue. The wild fermentation provides a clean, underlying lactic tartness that prevents the heavy fruit additions from becoming cloying, resulting in a refreshing yet decadent profile.
Appearance. Opaque and viscous with a deep magenta to electric pink hue derived from the Dragon Fruit; pours with a thick, creamy, pink-tinted head that shows moderate retention and heavy lacing.
Aroma. High intensity tropical fruit aromatics featuring pungent Passion Fruit and sweet Mango; secondary notes of fresh Pineapple and a mild, earthy Dragon Fruit sweetness are supported by a clean, lactic sourness.
