This American Pale Ale showcases a modern, hop-forward profile led by the classic pairing of Mosaic and Simcoe hops. The aroma is dominated by Mosaic’s signature notes of ripe blueberries and tropical fruit, underpinned by Simcoe’s distinct earthy pine and citrus resin. A clean, light bready malt character from neutral grains provides a sturdy but unobtrusive foundation, ensuring the hops remain the focus. On the palate, a firm but smooth bitterness balances a refreshing citrus-laden flavor profile. The finish is crisp and medium-dry, making this 4.8% ABV ale exceptionally drinkable while maintaining a sophisticated, multi-layered hop complexity characteristic of the style.

Appearance. Pale golden to deep gold (6-8 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Pours with a moderately large, off-white head that demonstrates good retention and leaves consistent lacing on the glass.

Aroma. Moderately high hop aroma featuring vibrant tropical fruit, blueberry, and stone fruit from Mosaic, alongside sharp pine and grapefruit resin from Simcoe. Low grainy-sweet maltiness supports the hops. Clean fermentation profile with negligible esters.

Taste. Initial hop-forward impression of mango and pine. The malt flavor is low and bready, providing a neutral backdrop for moderate-high bitterness (approximately 35-40 IBU). Hop flavors mirror the aroma with layers of berry and resinous citrus. Finishes medium-dry and clean with a lingering, non-harsh hop bitterness.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with moderate to high carbonation. Overall smooth texture with no astringency and a refreshing, crisp finish. Alcohol warmth is not perceived.
