Cocoon presents a vibrant sensory landscape driven by a deliberate quartet of hops. The initial impression is defined by the bright citrus and tropical layers of Citra, which meld seamlessly with the stone fruit and distinct earthy tea notes of Idaho 7. This American IPA maintains a classic structure through the assertive pine and spice provided by Chinook, while Columbus adds a pungent, resinous depth. A clean, grainy malt base allows these aromatic hops to lead, culminating in a crisp, dry finish with a lingering bitterness that invites another sip. It is a balanced yet hop-forward expression of the style.

Appearance. Deep gold to light amber (approx. 7–9 SRM) with a slight haze. Features a medium-sized, persistent white head with moderate lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma with prominent layers of grapefruit and lime from Citra, backed by resinous pine and herbal spice from Chinook and Columbus. Subtle tropical notes of mango and black tea from Idaho 7 emerge as it warms. Low grainy-sweet malt presence with a clean fermentation profile.
