The Pale Armadillo is a session-strength West Coast wanderer that bridges Scottish terroir with American hop intensity. Built on a base of Golden Promise and Munich malts, it offers a distinct biscuit and toasted grain foundation. The sensory profile is dominated by waves of zesty orange citrus and tropical fruit, driven by the bright, resinous character of Amarillo and the complex berry-like depth of Mosaic hops. Despite its low alcohol content, it maintains the spirit of an American IPA with a crisp, hop-amplified finish. The result is a vibrant, easy-drinking ale where local barley provides a soft platform for pungent, sun-drenched North American hops.

Appearance. Medium gold color with brilliant clarity. Pours with a medium-sized, persistent white head that leaves consistent lacing.

Aroma. Moderate to high intensity hop aroma featuring prominent orange citrus, grapefruit, and subtle notes of pineapple and blueberry. Supporting this is a low, clean, grainy maltiness with hints of toasted biscuit and a neutral fermentation profile.

Taste. Initial impression is hop-forward, delivering sharp citrus zest and tropical fruit flavors. A low, clean, and grainy maltiness from Golden Promise provides a bready, biscuit-like background. Bitterness is medium-high, balancing the light body. The finish is dry and clean with a lingering hoppy, bitter aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, crisp texture. Carbonation is moderate-high, enhancing the zesty hop character. No perceived alcohol warmth or astringency.
