Long White Cloud is a vibrant American Pale Ale that showcases the distinctive terroir of New Zealand hops. The sensory experience is lead by the aromatic punch of Nelson Sauvin and Motueka, delivering layers of crushed gooseberry, white grape, and zesty lime. A lean, neutral malt base provides a clean canvas for these hops to impart a sophisticated vinous character reminiscent of a Sauvignon Blanc. Tropical notes of passionfruit and a subtle spicy undertone lead into a crisp, refreshing finish. The bitterness is firm yet refined, ensuring excellent drinkability and a bright, hop-forward aftertaste that emphasizes its New World origins.

Appearance. Pale golden color with brilliant clarity. Supports a moderately large, frothy white head with good retention and delicate lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring pronounced white grape, gooseberry, and passionfruit from Nelson Sauvin. Complementary scents of fresh lime zest and a hint of herbal spice from Motueka are evident. Low, clean grainy maltiness and neutral fermentation esters support the hop profile.
