This refreshing American IPA captures the essence of the Green Mountain State with a bright, sensory-forward profile. Juicy stone fruit esters from the yeast blend seamlessly with vibrant tropical fruit, berry, and fresh pine aromas driven by dry-hopped Mosaic and Simcoe. On the palate, a soft, pillowy body of Oats and sweet Caramalt is balanced by the clean, bready foundation of Golden Promise malt, letting citrus and berry flavors shine. It finishes crisp and moderately bitter, offering a remarkably sessionable yet deeply complex hop experience that echoes the pristine, vibrant landscapes of Vermont.
Appearance. Medium gold with a slight, inviting haze. Crowned by a dense, persistent white head that leaves delicate, soapy lacing as it recedes.
Aroma. High intensity of tropical fruit, ripe blueberries, and bright citrus, supported by a distinct undertone of fresh pine. A low, sweet bready maltiness forms the base, complemented by a moderate, juicy stone fruit ester profile.
Taste. An initial burst of vibrant citrus and mixed berries leads into a soft, bready malt sweetness with a hint of caramel. Medium-high hop bitterness cuts through cleanly, balancing the juicy fruit flavors. The fermentation character is clean but yields subtle peach and apricot esters. Finishes dryish with a lingering, pleasantly hoppy and clean bitter aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a remarkably smooth, velvety texture. Carbonation is moderate, presenting no astringency or harshness, with a refreshing and light presence.
