Slinger is a vibrant American IPA that showcases a punchy, modern hop profile while maintaining exceptional drinkability. The sensory experience begins with a high-intensity nose featuring bright orange and tropical passionfruit, underscored by a signature dankness and a whisper of spice. On the palate, the hop character transitions into deeper notes of blood orange and resinous pine. A light, clean malt bill provides just enough structure to balance a bold, lip-smacking bitterness without adding heavy sweetness. This ale finishes crisp and dry, leaving a lingering trail of citrus zest and forest resin that invites another sip.
Appearance. Pours a medium gold to light amber with a slight, crystalline haze. Topped by a medium-sized, off-white head with excellent persistence and fine lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring distinct notes of fresh orange, passionfruit, and a resinous dankness. Subtle hints of spice and pine are supported by a low, clean, grainy malt presence and a neutral fermentation profile.
Taste. Prominent flavors of blood orange and tropical fruit lead into a mid-palate of resinous pine. A medium-high bitterness provides a sharp, clean bite that is balanced by a low, toasty malt character. The finish is medium-dry and crisp with a lingering, hoppy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-bodied with a smooth, soft texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a lively prickle on the tongue. Features a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth and no astringency.
