This vibrant American Pale Ale delivers a lush, multi-dimensional sensory experience despite its sessionable strength. A hazy, pillowy base provides the perfect canvas for the cosmic collision of Mosaic and Sabro hops. Bold aromas of ripe tangerine, mango, and marmalade meet the signature coconut and pineapple notes of Sabro, creating a distinct pina colada character. Mosaic adds deeper layers of blueberry and a whisper of forest pine. Underpinned by Extra Pale malt, Flaked Oats, and Torrified Wheat, the beer offers a soft, creamy texture that carries these tropical flavors through a smooth, slightly dry finish with remarkably gentle bitterness.
Appearance. Pale straw to light gold (4-5 SRM). Highly hazy to opaque with a moderately large, frothy white head that shows excellent retention and dense lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma. Prominent notes of toasted coconut and pineapple (pina colada) from Sabro, alongside blueberry, mango, and tangerine from Mosaic. Low grainy-sweet malt character with a clean fermentation profile.
Taste. Initial impression is a burst of tropical fruit and citrus. Flavors of mango, marmalade, and blueberry dominate the palate, followed by a creamy coconut and lime undertone. Malt flavor is low, presenting as fresh bread and raw grain. Bitterness is low but provides enough balance to prevent a sweet finish. The aftertaste is clean, featuring lingering citrus zest and a touch of dryness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a noticeably soft, silky, and creamy texture derived from the oat and wheat additions. Carbonation is moderate. No alcohol warmth or astringency present.
