Pwyll presents as a vibrant tropical landscape, built upon a sturdy, juicy IPA base. The addition of passionfruit delivers an immediate punch of tart acidity and exotic perfume, which is expertly smoothed by brewing over coconut. Sabro hops amplify these notes, contributing distinctive accents of cedar, mint, and cream. Together, these elements create a complex layering of stone fruit and citrus, while the coconut provides a velvety, rounded finish. Despite its expressive adjuncts, the 6.5% ABV ensures a well-integrated structure that remains distinctly beer-like, balancing fruity intensity with a soft, lingering bitterness in this modern Fruit Beer.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange (SRM 6-8) with a persistent, creamy off-white head that leaves significant lacing. Appearance is hazy to opaque, consistent with a juicy base style, potentially showing a slight dulling of color from the passionfruit addition.

Aroma. High intensity aroma dominated by fresh, tart passionfruit and sweet shredded coconut. The Sabro hops contribute secondary notes of pineapple, tangerine, and a subtle herbal mintiness. Low bready malt supports the fruit, while fermentation esters are clean and tropical.

Taste. The initial impression is a bright, tangy burst of passionfruit followed quickly by the smoothing, fatty sweetness of coconut.
