The addition of 45kg of caramelised biscuits into the fermenter creates a luxurious sensory profile dominated by sweet caramel biscuit notes, toasted sugar, and a hint of warming spice. A complex malt bill provides a sturdy backbone of bittersweet chocolate and espresso, while the 14.2% ABV delivers a slow, velvety warmth. Appearance. Jet black and completely opaque. Pours with a thick, dense, dark tan head that shows moderate retention. High viscosity is evident in the thick legs that coat the glass upon swirling.

Aroma. High intensity with a rich blend of roasted coffee, dark chocolate, and heavy molasses. Pronounced aromas of caramelised biscuits provide a distinct spiced-cookie sweetness, complemented by secondary notes of raisins and dried figs. Alcohol is noticeable but smooth and vinous.

Taste. Initial impression is intensely sweet and decadent, led by caramelised biscuits and toffee. The complex malt bill follows with layers of bittersweet cocoa, burnt grain, and strong espresso. Hop bitterness is moderate but partially masked by the significant residual sugar and malt depth. The finish is long and lingering, featuring a blend of roasted bitterness, sweet caramel, and a clean alcohol glow.
