Tanker Cloud Computing is a vibrant White IPA that bridges the gap between a refreshing Belgian Witbier and a punchy American IPA. Its pale, hazy appearance is topped with a fluffy white head, evoking the summer skies of Estonia. The sensory profile is dominated by a bright burst of citrusy New World hops, delivering notes of grapefruit and lemon zest. A soft base of wheat malt provides a smooth, bready foundation, while a crisp, dry finish ensures high drinkability. This modern interpretation balances moderate bitterness with a light, effervescent body, making it an exceptionally refreshing selection.
Appearance. Pale straw to light gold (3-4 SRM). Large, fluffy, persistent white head with excellent lacing. Hazy to cloudy due to the high wheat protein content.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity. Bright citrus notes of grapefruit and lemon peel from New World hops are prominent. Low, grainy, bready wheat malt aroma with a clean fermentation profile and light fruity esters such as pear or apple.
Taste. The initial impression is crisp and hop-forward. Strong flavors of citrus zest and tropical fruit lead, supported by a low, crackery, and slightly sweet wheat malt flavor. Bitterness is moderate but firm, providing a clean balance without being harsh. The finish is dry and refreshing with a lingering citrusy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a light creaminess from the wheat. High carbonation creates a lively, effervescent mouthfeel. Low alcohol warmth, consistent with its 5.5% ABV.
